Apply a thin layer of ointment to affected skin 3 to 5 times per day. If skin feels damp or is actually weeping fluid, sprinkle Solution EC: Damp Heat topical powder to absorb the exudate instead of using an ointment. If skin gets dry when lesions dry up or between eruptions of vesicles, apply Solution EC: Damp Heat Herbal Cream.
