This is a topical powder designed to be sprinkled on "wet" eczema (or impetigo) to absorb the exudate and help it form a scab to heal.  When lesions weep, using an ointment or cream is not recommended.  Powder to absorb the exudate is much more effective.  According to Chinese Medicine Dermatology, these herbs Clear Heat, Resolve Toxins and are known for their antimicrobial action.

  • Sprinkle just enough herbal powder onto wet section of weeping lesions to absorb the exudate.  Do not rinse off right away.  Allow it to form a crust.  Apply 3 times per day if possible.  Switch to Solution EC: Damp Heat Ointment once the skin is no longer weeping.
