This herb-infused oil is intended to be used in cases of very dry scalp, after applying Solution SD: Dry Flakes Topical Scalp Tincture. It is formulated for dry type cases of dandruff or cradle cap (seborrheic dermatitis) where scaling is profuse and white. According to Chinese Medicine Dermatology, this dry type seb derm of the scalp is considered to be a pattern of Hot Blood with Dry Wind. The herbs in this formula are understood to Clear Heat, Cool Blood, Nourish Blood, and Dispel Wind to Stop Itch. If condition is greasier (Damp Heat type), choose Solution SD: Oily Flakes Topical Scalp Tincture instead. *

Apply to the scalp every other night for best results. Allow to absorb or wear shower cap before resting head on pillow. Shampoo out in the morning. For better results, use in combination with SDFreedom™ Dry Scalp Tincture: apply the Scalp Tincture first, allow to dry, and then apply a small amount of Scalp Oil to the affected areas. The Scalp Tincture will penetrate deeper, but the Scalp Oil will reduce any drying effects of the Tincture. These products are for external use only.
