If you get cold sores, this herb-infused oil will be your new best friend. No topical treatment can cure the viral infection (HSV-I) that causes cold sores, but if you suffer from them frequently, your skin will appreciate the use of this oil when you get a breakout. This infused oil contains the same herbs that we use in our Solution CS lip balm, but they are more concentrated since there is no wax or butter added to form a firm balm. You only need a few drops at a time, so this bottle should last you quite a while. Apply one or 2 drops to clean fingertip or cotton swab and then gently dab on cold sore. Allow to be absorbed before deciding if you need to add more oil. For best results, apply 3 to 5 times per day at first signs of cold sore. Wash hands after touching any cold sore. This product is for external use only.
Our CSFreedom™ Herb-Infused Oil is packaged in Eurodropper bottles (the type of bottle most essential oils come in). These bottles have an orifice reducer that allows only one drop at a time to be dispensed. The clever advantages of this design are that no product gets wasted, there is less risk of spilling the contents of the bottle, and the precious oils inside are protected from oxidation. To get the drops of oil out of the bottle, turn the bottle completely upside-down and be patient for the 3 to 5 seconds it takes for that first drop to come out.
