Solution SD: Oily Flakes Topical Scalp Tincture
We make 2 different scalp tinctures for dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis) – one is more suitable for dry scalps and the other is more suitable for oily scalps. This Solution SD: Oily Flakes Topical Scalp Tincture is infused with Chinese herbs for the type of dandruff where the scalp is greasy with yellow scaling. This product can be used for cases of infant cradle cap if the flakes are yellow. Chinese Medicine Dermatology understands that the herbs in this tincture address seborrheic dermatitis with Excess Damp Heat. If the condition is more dry (Hot Blood with Dry Wind type), or for infants with cradle cap with white flakes, choose the Solution SD: Dry Flakes Topical Scalp Tincture instead. *

Apply to the scalp every other night for best results. Allow to absorb or wear shower cap before resting head on pillow. Rinse or shampoo out in the morning. Can be used in combination with SDFreedom™ Dry Scalp Oil if the tincture is too drying. Apply the Scalp Tincture first, allow to dry, and then apply a small amount of Scalp Oil to the affected areas. The Scalp Tincture will penetrate deeper, but the Scalp Oil will reduce any drying effects of the Tincture. These products are for external use only.
